The Continence services provided by Albury IVF include conservative management plans of continence issues:
- Continence Assessments
- Bladder training
- Pelvic floor strengthening with education in pelvic floor exercises
- Assistance with CAPS funding for continence products
- Neocontrol chair for pelvic floor strengthening.
The Neocontrol Chair
For Pelvic Floor Strengthening
The Neocontrol chair is a non-surgical, non-invasive painless treatment of incontinence for a weakened pelvic floor. The chair is a safe pelvic workout. The pelvic floor muscles are stimulated by an electromagnetic induction therapy.
The treatment involves two 20-minute sessions weekly for 8 weeks.
Cost: $20 per session (no medicare rebate)
No referral is required.
